You sign up, and your account opens on the Business plan — five users and a thousand documents a month — for fourteen days. No card, no deposit, nothing to cancel. Everything you create during the trial is real and stays yours if you continue.

Tell us which plan you want and we invoice you, then switch it on. We are not taking card or M-Pesa payments inside the app yet — that is coming — so for now a person reads your message and activates the account. If you say nothing, nothing is charged.

Anything you raise a number for: a quotation, a proforma, an invoice, a delivery note, a receipt, a contract, an agreement, a certificate or a letter. Drafts count from the moment they are created, because that is when the number is assigned. Labels do not count — print as many as you like.

The system tells you and stops you creating new documents until the month rolls over or you move up a plan. Nothing already in the system is touched, and you keep full access to everything you have raised. The allowance resets on the 1st.

Yes, in either direction. Moving up takes effect as soon as we switch it on. Moving down applies from your next month — if you are over the new plan's user limit you will need to deactivate the extra logins first.

Not yet. Protech Docs produces proper tax invoices with VAT calculated correctly, but it does not transmit to KRA eTIMS today — the hook for it is built and the work is planned. If eTIMS filing is what you need right now, ProtechBooks has it live and built in.

Yes. Every record carries your account's identity and every query is scoped to it; the separation is covered by an automated test suite that has to pass before anything ships. Your templates, numbering, customers and documents are yours alone.
